About us

Socksfromholland.com started out as a market business in 1987 (street markets), but when this site came alive in 2004 the sales through internet has been integrated to that. When that started to become a bit more substantial in 2007, we cancelled our markets one at a time till we only had one remaining, the market in the town of Oudewater on wednesdays.

Since the end of 2011 we also cancelled that one, so nowadays we only sell through our website.

Our family, the van Tricht family, all in all has 45 years of experience with the sales of hosiery, in particular socks and associated products, and 7 years out of those 45 are experience with internet sales.

We don't have a brick and mortar shop, just a warehouse, and all items on our site are actually in stock, although it's always possible that we ran out of something before the site gets updated. Those updates happen on a daily bases though, unless it's not needed of course.
